What is a practitioner and how can they serve you?

A practitioner is one who uses a special form of prayer called spiritual mind treatment to heal themselves or others. Professional practitioners are licensed and dedicate their life, their time, their energy and their intelligence to helping others through the teaching and practice of the Science of Mind. In Religious Science we make a distinction between a practitioner and a licensed practitioner. A licensed practitioner is one who has completed required course work and requirements for licensing by Religious Science International. The first requisite of spiritual mind practitioners is a full sense of sacredness of their trust. This means that anything that is said in a practitioner/client relationship, whether or not the practitioner is licensed, must be held in strictest confidence. It is the practitioners' business to uncover God in every person. It is the practitioners' business to work in their own mind. It is the practitioners' business to know that with God all things are possible. It is the practitioners' business to know that each of us is born of Spirit, and not born of matter, and that we all are spiritual beings.

And who is the best practitioner? The best practitioner is the one whose consciousness is the clearest, who relies every day on Divine Mind, and who has the most complete faith. The more completely the practitioner is convinced of the power of his word, the more power his word will have.
